  1. Cida Thai

Located South of LaGrange road, Cida Thai is a great place if you are craving some quick but delicious Thai food. Open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sunday, you can not only enjoy Thai noodle bowls, but also a variety of soups and salads. The most expensive thing on the menu is $10.99, which is very affordable and a good option for large groups. This restaurant is casual and great for kids, but it also offers delivery and takeout if you are unable to go out.

2. La Cabanita

Like Cida Thai, La Cabanita is a super casual and fast dinner or lunch option. It can be found in Brookfield, IL. La Cabanita is open 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. After indulging in a variety of tacos and burritos served either American or Mexian style, La Cabanita has 4 amazing churro flavors for only $1.75 each. Lasty, if you are unable to find the time to go out, they do offer carry out and delivery.

Writer’s note: This is one of my favorite restaurants and it is super affordable.

3. Sushi Ukai

Leaning more toward the expensive side is Sushi Ukai. Located in downtown LaGrange, Sushi Ukai is open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Fridays, 11:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Saturdays and 12 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Sundays. This restaurant is more on the expensive side with the average sushi rolls being between $10 and $14 but still a super good option if you are looking for a night out. They offer a Japanese soda for kids, as well as a variety of vegetarian and vegan rolls, so this place is perfect for the whole family. If you want to make the whole experience easier, you can order ahead from their app so that your food is ready at your convenience.

4. Kama Bistro

If you are looking for something a little spicer, Kama Bistro is perfect. Also located in downtown LaGrange, Kama Bistro is open 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays. While the lunch menu prices usually vary between $5 for appetizers and $15 for meals, the dinner menu is a bit more expensive with options up to $40. It is a nice sit down dinner or lunch. Customers can enjoy freshly cooked naan, curry and cauliflower as well as some delicious Tikka Masala.

5. Little Creperie

Finally, if you are looking for something simple and great, the Little Creperie in Clarendon Hills is perfect. The Little Creperie is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Fridays, 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturdays and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays; however, during the winter, the Little Creperie is not be open on Tuesdays. It is a super casual and small restaurant and includes both savory and sweet crepes. It offers tables people can sit and dine at, but it might be more convenient to take your food to go as the restaurant itself is quite small.

They do not deliver, but you can order online for a quick pick up. The crepes are more on the expensive side with individual crepes ranging from $9 to $11, but overall this place is worth it.
