This Chicago restaurant offers more than enough with regard to entertainment. SPiN Chicago is a ping-pong themed restaurant located on North State Street. With the option to rent a ping-pong table by the hour, SPiN offers a fun dinner experience for families and friends alike.

For my trip to SPiN, I rented a ping-pong table for one hour. The food came quickly and I was thoroughly entertained. The venue was not overly crowded at dinner time and the service was extremely helpful. Though the price of the ping-pong table was expensive (just under $60 for the hour) I was definitely satisfied with the experience.

My dinner was impressive; I enjoyed each dish that I was served. I really enjoyed the burger ($11), which came with fries and was served in a sufficient portion. Some other personal favorites were the margarita flatbread ($14) and the chicken wings ($12), both of which I consumed in full. The sauce on the flatbread tasted extremely fresh and the wings weren’t to spicy and had plenty of flavor. Easily the best meal I had eaten in a while (aside from my mom’s Thanksgiving dinner of course), SPiN exceeded my expectations in the food category.

The ping-pong table offered more than enough to do while waiting for our meal (which did not take very long anyway). The atmospheric and entertainment aspects alone would have been enough to convince me to return to the restaurant. Families and friends played on tables that were sufficiently spaced apart. The walls were colorful; blank spaces on the walls were filled with murals and pictures. SPiN Chicago was simply a fun place to be overall.

I would definitely return to SPiN, even if it was a bit pricy. Though my table was only rented for an hour, I was satisfied with the experience. The food was as good as a could have hoped for and the atmosphere made SPiN a fun place to be during winter break.
