Museums- The Field Museum is free every day in February. The Adler Planetarium, Chicago History Museum and Shedd Aquarium are free on Mondays. 

Zoos- The Lincoln Park Zoo is always free and the Brookfield zoo is free to all every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday throughout February. 

Ice Skating- Admission for the Maggie Daley Ribbon is free and skate rentals are available for $13–$15.

Shopping- The Magnificent Mile is a fun place to shop with friends and walk around downtown.
