For almost an entire semester, LT teachers have been working without a contract. Behind the scenes, the school administration and the teacher’s union have been unable to work out the details to produce a contract both parties agree on. Also, Over the past couple years, Illinois high school students have fled to out of state colleges and universities. The culprit seems rather clear: cost. Now, some public Illinois Colleges and Universities are trying to address the so-call Brian Drain with more lucrative scholarships.
