Although Brownstock was rescheduled to Saturday May 16, lack of student interest caused the event to be cancelled.

Eugene O’Reilly, the main organizer of Brownstock, sent an email that outlined the reasons behind the cancellation.

“Due to busy time, lateness in the year, Saturdayitis, or just plain disinterest, we only had six acts come out for it [Brownstock,]” the email read. “We even opened it up to South Campus acts and got two… I then took an informal audience survey of my classes and many assumed it was cancelled and/or ‘won’t come in on a Saturday.’”

Juniors, sophomores and freshman can look forward to Brownstock XVI hopefully taking place next spring.
